A very fine porcelain hat pin holder made by Noritake in Japan for the western market.

Hand painted with relief design.Intricate floral pattern, with very fine raised thread design to the base and rim with gold gilding, now slightly worn

12 holes to then top for hatpins.

This is an early design dating from 1903/10 - full Noritake stamp to the base.

In very good condition for its age - 12 cms tall, 7.5 cms wide at the base, 4 cms wide at the top.

Great addition to any collection.
